About Us

Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all backgrounds to engage in honest and respectful dialogue about spirituality and faith. Through our content and community, we strive to offer healing and hope to those who have been hurt by their experiences with Christianity or organized religion. We aim to foster an environment where people can feel safe to explore and express their beliefs, doubts, and questions without fear of judgment or persecution. Ultimately, our goal is to help people connect with their inner spirit, find peace and healing, and experience the love and grace of God in a transformative way.
Our vision is to see the church, the body of Christ, interact as a more loving, inclusive, and compassionate community, with a vibrant and healthy understanding of God that empowers individuals to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Galatians 5:14 (NRSV)

A Kindled Fire

Just as a fire needs fuel and oxygen to burn brightly, our relationship with God requires us to constantly nourish it with prayer, meditation, and fellowship. When we do so, it can become a source of warmth, light, and inspiration in our lives, illuminating our path and guiding us through the darkest of times. Like a kindled fire, our relationship with God can grow and spread, bringing joy and hope to those around us and helping us to become beacons of His love and grace.

The Moonlight

Just as the moon reflects the light of the sun and illuminates the night sky, we are called to reflect the light of God in the world. This means living our lives in a way that reflects His love, compassion, and grace, and shining His light into the lives of others through our words, actions, and deeds. Like the moon, we are not able to generate light on our own, but through our relationship with God, we can radiate His light and love to those around us, bringing hope, comfort, and joy to a world often shrouded in darkness.

Growing up in a Christian family that was filled with control, I often felt suffocated and misunderstood. I struggled to reconcile the strict, judgmental God that I was taught with the compassionate and redemptive God that I saw in Christ. It wasn’t until I seriously began to seek Him for myself, outside of the confines of my family’s expectations, that I truly encountered the loving and merciful God of the Bible. Through my own struggles and experiences, I learned that God is not a distant, controlling deity, but a loving and accepting Father who desires to have a personal relationship with each of us. I am so grateful for the journey that led me to discover the true nature of God’s love and grace, and I pray that others who may be struggling with similar doubts and fears will also find their way to a deeper understanding of who God really is.
